This tour gives us a fascinating insight into the culture and nature of Chile and Argentina. A unique chance to immerse yourself in these amazing destinations.

Tour Details

 High altitude lake amongst mountain peaks. Water Fountain in City Centre Lake next to village with hills in distance.
Day 1 Arrival in Santiago
Today you will be transferred to your lovely hotel in Santiago, where you will have time to relax from the flight or spend some time to explore the friendly and lively capital of Chile, surrounded by the Andes.

Day 2 Santiago city tour
Get your legs working this morning for an interesting city tour, visiting the community centre and the Plaza de la Constitucion. After, continuing to Cerro Santa Lucia to get an amazing city view. The afternoon will be free.

Day 3 Valparaiso and Viña del Mar
Today it is time to departure to UNESCO Valparaiso, the ´Jewel of the Pacific´, to visit the financial district and Central Market. After, we will head to Viña de Mar, the ´garden city´, located on the beach.

Day 4 Concha y Toro Vineyard and Cajon del Maipu
Start your day with a nice visit to a Vineyard, to learn more about the wine making process see the orchards and taste some of these delicious wines. Afterwards we will continue to Cajon del Maipu, to ride horses in the Andes mountain range.

Day 5 Isla Negra and Pomaire
We will head to Isla Negra, a little quiet beachside town where we will see a huge collection of miniatures of boat and shells and visit one of the houses of the famous Chilean Nobel prize winner Pablo Neruda. In the afternoon we will visit the artist village Pomaire, which is famous for its pottery, and return to Santiago.

Day 6 Santiago – Punta Arenas – Puerto Natales
After an early breakfast we will take a flight to Punta Arenas in the far south. We will start with a city tour, to get to know the main attractions of this city, as well as an insight into the history, legends and the adventures of the colonists and the natives. We will then continue on to Puerto Natales, passing by a penguin colony on the way!

Day 7 National Park Torres del Paine
Departure early in the morning for a full day excursions into the impressive Torres del Paine national park. First we stop en route to see the imposing natural monument of a prehistoric animal in the ´Cueva del Milodón´ cave. Accommodation in the park.

Day 8 Navegación del Glaciares
We will depart to the pier in the early morning to take a boat trip to see the impounding glaciers. Later we will visit the first ranches in this zone and we will have chance to observe a little colony of sea cormorants and other colonies of sea birds. 

Day 9 Ushuaia
Leaving the park, today we will continue our trip across the border, and even further south to visit Ushuaia; known as the most austral town of the world! The afternoon is free for exploring this ´southernmost city´ in the world.
 
Day 10 El Calafate
We will take an afternoon flight to Calafate, a small traditional and picturesque village in Patagonia, Argentina. Here you can enjoy a delicious meal such as the famous Patagonian Lamb Barbecue in one of the fantastic local restaurants.

Day 11 Glacier Perito Moreno
We will head to the south of the Lake ´Argentino ´and National Park ´Los Glaciares´. We will arrive at an intensive blue advancing Glacier, which is 30,000 years old and almost as dark blue as the water where you will be amazed as you hear the sound of the ice crashing down into the water.

Day 12 Calafate – Buenos Aires
It is time for you to head to the amazing capital Buenos Aires. In the afternoon we will have a short city tour, in which you can orientate yourself, and discover some of the famous places of this great city.

Day 13 Buenos Aires
Get your legs working this morning for a good day of shopping in the best shops of Buenos Aires. Famous for leather, fashion, wines and meats you can top off your day with a tasty meal in one of the abundant meat restaurants.

Day 14 Buenos Aires
The day is free to explore this lively and charismatic capital city, going shopping or if you would prefer to escape the city centre, you can visit a typical Argentinean ´Estancia´. In the evening we will enjoy a spectacular Tango and Folklore show over dinner.

Day 15 Buenos Aires
Today you will return to your home country and taking memories of this experience, along with your shopping bags home with you.
