Salt Planes

 Ski Slopes  Snowy Mountains
Day 1 Arrival Santiago

You will be transferred to your lovely hotel. Today is a free day, in which you can spend some time to explore the friendly capital, surrounded by the Andes.

Day 2 Ski Valle Nevado
You will leave your hotel early in the morning from Santiago, to ascend a height around 3000 meter, to get an amazing view of mountains. We will head to Valle Nevado, one of the most modern ski resorts, where you will be able to enjoy a full day of snowboarding and skiing.

Day 3 Free day Santiago
Spend a day at leisure time; go skiing again or explore the culture and architecture of Santiago.

Day 4 Skiing/Snowboarding Portillo
We will leave early in the morning, to make the most of the day in Portillo, where you will be able to enjoy one of the most famous ski centres. Surrounded by mountains and with spectacular views, this will be a once in a lifetime experience.

Day 5 San Pedro de Atacama – Valle de la Luna
Today we take our flight to Calama, where you will transferred to your hotel in the oasis desert town San Pedro de Atacama. The driest desert of the world has a collection of secrets just waiting to be discovered. In the afternoon we will walk up a large sand dune and settle in a wonderful location from which to watch the sunset.

Day 6 – Lagunas Altiplanicas – Salir de Atacama
Today you will explore the village and meeting the people who spend their time making handicrafts from fine wool. After, you will continue to the Quebrada de Jerez, where you can paddle in the cool stream.

Day 7 Sandboarding
Now it is time for you to give another board sport a try; today we will go sandboarding, sliding down the steep sanddunes!

Day 8 Tatio Geysers
In the morning you will travel to the highest geothermic area in the Andean Range, the Tatio Geysers. The area is home to many animal species, including the Vicuna. Later in the day, you will visit the village of Caspana, where traditional agricultural and irrigation techniques inherited from the Incas are still used.

Day 9 – 11 Arica
Early in the morning your bus will arrive in Arica, one of the most northern cities of Chile. This beautiful beach resort gives you the change to relax and reflect on the amazing things you have done so far. You can watch the pelicans eating fish and the sea lions sunbathing in the harbour.

Day 12 Santiago Free day
You will have a free day in Santiago.

Day 13 Valparaiso and Vineyard
Today we will make a small trip to surrounding places, with activities involves visiting the winemaking facilities, visiting coastal city of Valparaiso, and enjoy the beaches.

Day 14 Cajon del Maipu
Today we will head towards Cajón del Maipu, where you will be able to enjoy the fresh air and wonderful natural setting of the canyon, looking out for the native flora and fauna, admiring the spectacular view of the snowy mountains. We will enjoy adventure activities today; rafting and horse riding!

Day 15 Departure Home
Today you will return to your home country and you will look back on your immense experience in Chile! You also have the opportunity to extent your trip to visit and experience other amazing destinations in South America!
